The last day of Suwon Hwaseong Cultural Festival
In the morning of the last day, realist revival of Lady Hyegyong's 60-year-old celebration was held in the Hwaseong haenggung.
This is the performance showing filial duty of King Jeongjo, wish for longevity and eternity to Lady Hyegyong and 70 kinds of royal cuisine was served.
After the feast, ‘Walking Hwaseong Fortress in straw shoes' event was held in Yeonmudae. A number of people participated in and feel the value of world heritage.
Furthermore, Suwoncheon rebirth to Dream road by artistic light and art works.
'Gallery progect under the Brige' opend and it includes 4,142 art works by students, citizens and artist.
At 8 o'clock, closing ceremony was held at Hwaseong haenggung square to close 3 days of festival. Traditional performences integrated with various art genre was held.
Also, the best team of the 'Citizen's parade' was awarded, and King Jeongjo announced closing of the festival.
The 49th Suwon Hwaseong cultural festival was citizen made festival. Thank you all and look forward to the 50th Suwon Hwaseong cultural festival next year. We appreciate for your interest.
