Juwon & Oh Yeon-seo Starring K-Pop Drama Shooting to Take Place in Hwaseong Haenggung(Hwaseong Temporary Palace)

Hwaseong Haenggung(Hwaseong Temporary Palace) is a famous shooting location for traditional dramas. SBS Monday & Tuesday drama series “My Sassy Girl”, which stars Juwon and Oh Yeon-seo, was filmed in this place as well. In the drama “My Sassy Girl”, the “girl” is actually Princess Haemyeong, played by Oh Yeon-seo, and many scenes were shot in the palace. Most of the scenes featuring the inside of the palace were shot at Hwaseong Haenggung(Hwaseong Temporary Palace) . In one scene from episode 8 where Gyeonwoo, played by Juwon, is having a lewd dream based on the salacious books he is reading, he runs away when he spots Princess Haemyeong. This scene took place in “Bongsudang”, a special spot in Hwaseong Haenggung(Hwaseong Temporary Palace). In other scenes as well you can glimpse Hwaseong Haenggung(Hwaseong Temporary Palace) in the drama. The drama “My Sassy Girl” is a comical romantic drama that portrays a cool guy, Gyeonwoo, and an eccentric girl from bygone days of Korea. The story is based upon the movie “My Sassy Girl” but the TV drama takes place in the Joseon Dynasty rather than the present day. Nevertheless, it recreates many popular scenes from the original version.
