Recruitment notice for the 3rd Suwon Cultural Ambassadors

Suwon Cultural Foundation(SWCF) has recruited Suwon Cultural Ambassadors to promote Suwon’s culture, art and tourism by March 31, 2016.
The activities include visiting the UNESCO heritages Suwon Hwaseong Fortress and particiapting the Suwon Hwaseong Cultural Festival. Suwon Cultural Ambassadors can also experience traditional dietary life and traditional etiquette. After activities, Ambassadors register information related to Suwon in their native language at personal SNS platforms(including blog) and write tour reviews.
International Students Currently attending universities within Korea and using SNS platforms can apply for Suwon Cultural Ambassadors.
Suwon Cultural Ambassadors receive a Suwon Hwaseong Fortress free pass and have lots of benefits to participate the tour, festival, and performance organized by SWCF for free. And Best Ambassador Awards will take place selecting the winner based on their activities.

• Participate in Suwon tours 4 times a year, and write tour reviews
• Form teams according to language groups (or continental groups) and monitor tourism for Suwon Hwaseong Fortress

2016 The Year for Visiting Suwon Hwaseong

Suwon Hwaseong Fortress is rated as an unrivaled architectural work, the integration of 18th century science, architecture and arts. Year 2016 is the 220th anniversary of the completion of Suwon Hwaseong Fortress. Open Call for International Performing Artists of Suwon Theatre Festival 2016

Suwon Theatre Festival is ready to celebrate its 20th anniversary and call for the international performing artists for the 2016 festival.
Suwon Theatre Festival was founded in 1996 in order to celebrate the 200th anniversary of the construction of the Suwon Hwaseong Fortress, which is UNESCO’s world heritage site, and it is  organized by the Suwon Cultural Foundation and hosted by Suwon city of Korea.

Next year’s festival will be held from 5th to 8th May in the big event of ‘2016 Visit Suwon Hwaseong Year’ and through this open call, we will select fresh and excellent performances.
We hope that more artists who have passionate mind and infinite potential will participate in this open call and challenge their creativity.
