KBS releases teaser for its new Korean drama ‘Moonlight Drawn by Clouds’! Clip filmed at Hwaseong Temporary Palace.










New KBS drama ‘Moonlight Drawn by Clouds’ will air on August 22, 2016. 
KBS released a teaser for its latest drama series online.
In the teaser, actor Park Bo-gum, who plays the main character, shows off his ‘bombastic dance’ in front of the Jungyangmun Gate of the Suwon Hwaseong Temporary Palace, while wearing hanbok (Korean traditional clothing).








The upcoming KBS drama ‘Moonlight Drawn by Clouds’ is about a love story between the Crown Prince Lee Young (played by Park Bo-gum) and Hong Ra-on (played by Kim Yoo-jung), a eunuch who is in fact a woman disguised as a man. 
Please keep an eye out for how the Hwaseong Temporary Palace is displayed in ‘Moonlight Drawn by Clouds.’

Invitation to King Jeongjo Tomb Parade Reenactment






Marking the 220th anniversary of erecting Suwon Hwaseong Fortress, the City of Seoul and the City of Suwon will hold a King Jeongjo’s Parade Reenactment from Changdeokgung Palace to Hwaseong Haenggung Palace on October 8~9.
The event will reenact the parade done by the king in 1795.
We invite civil participants to this parade.

Suwon Hwaseong Fortress and Hwaseong Temporary Palace(Hwaseong Haenggung) Night Opening









From July to September, Suwon Hwaseong Fortress and Hwaseong Temporary Palace are opened at night.
Although, even during daytime, Suwon Hwaseong Fortress is a magnificent world cultural heritage, the appearance blended with soft lighting creates an even greater spectacle.When lightings are lighted at 8:00 p.m. every day, the splendid night view may be appreciated.
After 6:00 p.m., you may enter Suwon Hwaseong Fortress free of charge, but admission into Hwaseong Temporary Palace is charged.
Under the soft moon light, take a walk in the garden of the old palace and enjoy the atmosphere of Hwaseong Temporary Palace where King Jeongjo the Great visited in olden times.

  • Visiting Hours: Until 9:00 p.m.
