King Jeongjo the Great leaves his throne at Hwaseong Temporary Palace and visits every nook and cranny of Suwon Hwaseong Fortress to meet the people or tourists in person. This event is called the royal procession of King Jeongjo the Great~!!
The royal procession of King Jeongjo the Great is a reenactment of how King Jeongjo the Great used to meet his subjects, listen to and solve their problems.
King Jeongjo the Great looked upon communicating with his subjects as an important task and took care of more than 3,000 civil complaints during his reign.
Although he doesn't listen to civil complaints himself anymore, it would be a unique experience!
If you happen to meet King Jeongjo the Great walking down the street, please greet him with a smile :)
